The Insulation Assurance Authority is the industry body that provides assurance framework under a single compliance platform and covers consumer protection, technical guidance, Certification, Competent Persons Scheme (CPS), installer surveillance, monitoring, training and carding. 

The CIGA Group employs over 40 full time staff and have supported installers and homeowners since 1995, issuing over 6.2 million guarantees (effectively protecting 1 in every 4 homes across the UK).

The Brief:

The IAA approached us to create an online portal that would allow their members to apply for and purchase various guarantees online. The system needed to cater for multiple guarantee paths, each with a custom application form and approval process.

Our Solution:

The website is build on Weblator CMS, and is technically one of the most complicated systems we have produced. The platform we built allows the IAA members to follow the various checkout paths in order to apply for and purchase the guarantees online. The system has functionality so that The IAA can check and approve the applications at the various stages of the process, and generate PDF guarantees once each application is successful. The backend area includes various reporting tools and exporters, allowing the data generated by the system to be analysed and imported into IAA's own custom database system.
